Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers (1995)

"The Curse of Michael Myers" is the Sixth installment and is a Slasher/horror movie. It is directed by Joe Chappelle, screenplay written by Daniel Farrands, and its based on characters by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. The story also involves the "Curse of Thorn". The Thorn symbol is first shown in the fifth movie "The Revenge of Michael Myers" but not explained. In this movie this movie is explained as a source of Michael Myers´immortality. This story takes place six years later than Michael Myers last massacre, and we once again meet Jamie Lloyd (J.C. Brandy). On October 31, 1989 Jamie is abducted from the Haddonfield police station. Now Jamie is held captive by some black hooded cult, and she has been impregnated. She manages to escape the cult. Michael Myers ones again turns up to kill her and the baby.

The Curse of Michael Myers is a great sequel to the Halloween film series, and the last of the Halloween movies I really enjoy. The later movies I am not a big fan of. Anyway this movie brings back the murderous killer Michael Myers in a good way, and also mix in some mysterious cult, and witchcraft to it. This kind of brings back the plot of the third Halloween movie "Season of the Witch" I think, first time I saw the Halloween series the third movie gave no sense to me, of course I read the story about that, but I think they kind of manages to make more sense to the third one as well. Great installment to the Halloween series. This is also the last movie with Dr.Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence) in it. Donald died the same year this movie came out R.I.P. 8 out of 10.
