Halloween 4: Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers(1988)

Halloween 4 is the fourth installment in the Halloween series, it is directed by Dwight H. Little, and written by Dhani Lipsius, Larry Rattner, Benjamin Ruffner, and Alan B. McElroy. It is based on the characters by John Carpenter. As the title tells us this is the return of Michael Myers after being absent in the third movie. John Carpenter and Debra Hill retired the Michael Myers storyline after the second movie. They were intending to make Halloween movies with different plot for every new movie, and the third one was suppose to be the first. Halloween 4 was suppose to be a Ghost story, but because the third movie was slaughtered by bad ratings and bad reviews, Halloween 4 reintroduces Michael Myers.

This story takes place 10 years after the original Halloween massacre where Michael Myers was trying to murder his sister Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). Michael Myers once again awakens to return to Haddonfield, this time to kill his seven year old niece Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris), and Michaels former psychiatrist Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence) once again has to try and stop him. Another great sequel to the Halloween series. When I first saw the Halloween series as a teenager I was so disappointed that Michael Myers was not in the third movie, and I loved it when he returned in this movie! Of course these days I love the third movie as well. But still its cool to see Michael awaken again. I do like the first two movies better than this one, but this is still a great movie! Young Danielle Harris is a great actor, she is kind of like Jamie Lee Curtis number two in these movies. In the start of the movie as they roll Michael Myers out on the hospital bed, and the Halloween theme by John Carpenter come, I feel the chills on my back, every time! And the ending of the movie is absolutely epic! 8 out of 10.
