This is the sequel to the original Pet Sematary written by Stephen King. It is a fantasy horror movie and is directed by Mary Lambert and the screenplay is written by Richard Outten. It stars a young Edward Furlong.
The story begins with the death of Jeff Matthews`s (Edward Furlong) mother. Jeff and his father Chase Matthews ( Anthony Edwards) moves to the town of Ludlow, Maine. Jeff learns about the Creed family which we meet in the first film, and the cursed Indian burial ground which lies far into the Pet Sematary.
I really liked the original Pet Sematary from 1989. I also thought this was a pretty good sequel to it. I like that we get to hear about the Creed family which we meet in the first movie, this movie also have the nice fantasy/horror movie atmosphere as I loved in movies as a kid. Movies like these really brings me back to my childhood. I really like Edward Furlong, he is a talented actor. Specially in his early movies where he is young. The movie is absolutely worth watching!
