Grizzly (1976)

Grizzly also known as "Killer Grizzly" is an American thriller/horror movie. It is directed by William Girdler and co-written by Harvey Flaxman and David Sheldon. An eighteen foot tall grizzly bear is terrorizing a state park leaving a trail of dead bodies behind it. Now its up to the park ranger Michael Kelly (Christopher George) to stop the murderous bear.

Now what is greater than a 70s film with a giant grizzly bear killer? Beats me! This movie has been called a "Jaws rip-off" and I can kind of see why, but still I really liked this movie! The movie has kind of a cozy feeling to me, this is the kind of movies that you would only find in the 60s, 70s and 80. I do not believe I have seen any movies like this in later years. Of course there are some bad effects, and it is kind of cheesy, but I like that in a movie. At least they use a real grizzly bear in the movie, and not some stuffed bear. I liked this movie, and it is worth watching! Can´t wait to see the sequel! 5 out of 10.
