"Paradise Lost 2: Revelations" is the sequel to the documentary film "Paradise Lost: The Child Murders At Robin Hood Hills". It is directed by Joe Berlinger and, Bruce Sinofsky.
In this movie Bruce Sinofsky and Joe Berlinger visits support groups for the West Memphis Three. Damien Echols who was sentenced to death by lethal injection. Jason Baldwin who was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility for parole, and Jessie Misskkelly, Jr, who was sentenced to life plus 40 years. Echols is appealing his sentence. There are also more pieces of evidence coming up in this movie, that was not in the first trial. The suspicion is also turning against Christopher Byers stepfather John Mark Byers.
This is a great sequel to the original "Paradise Lost" documentary. I truly believe in this movie John Mark Byers the stepfather of Christopher Byers are really losing his mind. But it is not so strange, as he lost his stepson in a brutal murder, and that his wife died. We also see a different Damien Echols in this movie. We can kind of see that he is now seeing the "reality" of the case, as in the first movie he believed that he would not be framed for the crime because he did not do it. In this movie he has already been in jail for 5 years or so, and do now understand that he might be facing a lethal injection. As I said this is a great follow up to the original movie, and it kind of twists against that there is another person who murdered the three young boys at Robin Hood hills.
10 out of 10.
