There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane (2011)

"There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane" is an American HBO documentary directed by Liz Garbus.
Diane Schuler and her husband Daniel Schuler are out camping with their 5-year old son, 2-year old daughter, and Diane´s brothers three daughters, 5, 7, and 8 years old. When they are going home Diane is driving a minivan. Her husband is taking the dog and a pickup truck, and they will meet back home. But on the way something happens with Diane Schuler, she suddenly runs the car into the wrong lane of the Taconic State Parkway highway. She drives there for 1.7 miles, until she crashes into a oncoming SUV. Eight people was killed in the crash, and the he accident made national headlines as there was found alcohol and THC in Diane Schuler's body at the autopsy.

This is a very tragic incident, and it is kind of interesting what did really happen to Diane Schuler as she was driving home. She had a high level of alcohol and marijuana in her system, but her husband and sister in law refuses that this is the truth, they do believe that Diane must have had a stroke or something. Most of her friends and family are doing everything to disprove that Diane in fact used marijuana and drink alcohol before driving, but all tests shows it the other way around. It is of course only Diane herself, and maybe her passengers who would know. But it is a kind of interesting documentary, but it was not the best I have seen, to me it was kind of slow, and I guess it could have been allot better.
