Happiness is a drama-comedy film written and directed by Todd Solondz. The movie was highly controversial because of its heavy sexual theme, and its portrayal of pedophilia.
The movie follows a group of individuals, and their dysfunctional lives. All of the characters in the film is has some kind of connection with each other.
This is one of the better comedies I have seen. It was much more disturbing than I had first thought when I started watching it. I was changing between laughing and thinking "What the fuck?!" There are some scenes in the movie which is down right fucked up. Like the psychologist jerking off to children magazines, and Philip Seymour Hoffman calling random phone numbers, harassing women on the phone and jerking off spilling his sperm all over the wall. I did not really know about this film, the reason I watched it is because I am a big fan of Philip Seymour Hoffman, may he rest in peace! But this movie made my day, really funny and disturbing!
I give it a 6 out of 10.
