Justin Sayer (Brad Renfro) suffers from a mental illness which makes him hallucinate and hear voices and sounds.
His mental state has made him unable to be with his son, and this seems to have made his mental state worse, and he is very depressed.
Justin keeps hearing banging on his closet door, but right when he is about to open the closet door, someone knocks the front door to his apartment or motel room, or whatever it is.
At the door is a man The collector (Matthew Boylan). Justin asks the man where his usual therapist is. The man answers that he is a therapist, that the other therapist is unavailable, but that he was requested.
When Justin asks what happened to his usual therapist, the collector answers "Dead"
But he is referring to the electricity, Justin keeps clicking the light switch but there is no light.
And his clock has stopped.
Justin decides to hide his mental illness from the new therapist, and tells him that all hallucinations and voices are gone. But while saying this, he still hears the banging on the closet door.
The therapist leaves the room, and Justin is going to open the closet door again.
What he finds in the closet, is something that he was not expecting at all.
And the movie stops.
I find this movie really interesting, and it takes us into the deeply disturbed mind of Justin Sayer.
Its a very psychological short movie, and they make it very sinister with the movies atmosphere.
I have always liked the actor Brad Renfro, he has acted in several good movies.
Sadly this is his last performance, but he is acting good as always.
The director Dempsey Tillman sure made the right chose to go with Brad Renfro as Justin Sayer.
This short film get the score 7 out of 10 from me.
I would like to see this as a feature length movie, but no one will play Justin as good as Brad Renfro does.
