Teenage cocktail (2016)

I watched this movie cause I find internet creep movies interesting. But this movie was a big disappointment. It was plain boring. The movie is directed by John Charchietta, and its about two teenage girls making money of doing live webcam movies with sexual content.

Annie (Nichole Bloom) is the new girl at school, and she has a tough time
fitting in, until she befriends the girl Jules (Fabianne).
They quickly become very close friends.
Annie’s mother Lynn (Michelle Borth) get worried about Annie for spending to much time with Jules.

As Annie and Jules grow closer, they start to experiment with each other sexually.
And they are also going to parties doing drugs, drinking alcohol and having sex with boys.

We learn that Jules earns her money on flaunting herself on webcam in front of paying costumers, Annie being curious also wants to give it a try.

The girls are dreaming of leaving their boring town, and go for New York. So they keep saving money from their webcam act.

One night when Jules falls asleep in front of the running webcam,
her boyfriend walks in and catches her red handed.
But instead of waking her up, he shares the webcam page with everyone at their school.

The two girls decides that they don’t want any trouble and they want to run
away for New York. But they do not have enough money saved up yet.
So Jules gets the idea to hook up with one of the webcam costumers, not knowing how dangerous it will turn out to be.

I was hoping for this to be a more shady and dark movie, but it was more mainstream, boring and predictable than I had thought, I would have liked to see a little more from the internet creeps point of view. We don't get to know much more than that he is a married man, who likes to watch young girls on the net, and cheat on his wife. Not much interesting about him.
The story of the two teenage girls is not much more interesting, pretty much the same as told in a million movies before, about dreaming of something better than life in the boring town, and experimenting with sex, drugs and alcohol.

I give this movie a 3 out of 10 score.
