I Spit On Your Grave (2010)

I spit on your grave is a remake of the movie from 1978 with the same name, but it is also called "Day of the woman". It is a rape-revenge horror movie, and is directed by Steven R. Monroe. It stars Sarah Butler, Chad Lindberg, Daniel Franzese and more.

The novelist Jennifer Hills (Sarah Butler) is going to a cabin in the woods to work on her new novel. On the way she stops at a gas station where three local men are working. As Jennifer arrives at the cabin, she works on her novel, drink wine and smoke weed. But soon the fun will be over, when she get attacked by the men who worked at the gas station. She gets gang-raped and brutally beaten by the three men, and the town sheriff. She throws herself in a river, and they leave her for dead.

But Jennifer survives, and she seeks vengeance on the men who hurt her.

There are allot of remake movies that I do not like, and often don`t even bother to watch. But this one really works for me. Day of the woman came out in 1978 and shocked the people. 32 years later I spit on your grave comes out and shocks again. It is a really brutal movie, and it consists of allot of violence. It is a great remake.

7 out of 10.
