5 бутылок водки translates to 5 bottles of vodka, and is another one of Svetlana Baskova`s masterpieces! I do not know what genre to call this movie, but it definitely crazy.
It is not as good as Svetlana`s previous movie The Green Elephant, but it is not far behind.
I saw these movie first time about two years ago, and rewatched it yesterday.
The movie is about the life of the workers at a normal Moscow bar, where the relationship between the workers, which is everything but normal.
The owner of the bar is a sadistic man, who likes to taste all of the booze that the bar has to offer, and he keeps barfing all over himself. The two workers there are humiliated and whipped around by the bar owner. One of them being mentally retarded.
The movie offers violence, murder, self-mutilation, drunkenness, rape, shit, and vomit. It also have allot of sick humor that Svetlana Baskova is very good at putting in her movies. She manages to make it all sick twisted and still funny. I really enjoyed this movie. The way the movie is made, with blurry and dirty images is really cool, and makes it all look pretty real. The score is 7 out of 10.
