Cannibal Holocaust will be the first of the movie nasties I will review. Cannibal Holocaust is an Italian cannibal horror movie, it revolutionized the found footage style of film making. Later seen in movies as The Blair Witch Project. The director Ruggero Deodato was actually arrested on obscenity charges and later charged of making a snuff film due to the rumors that the actors was killed on camera.
Deodato cleared the movie by bringing the actors to the courtroom. The movie was banned in several countries, and are still banned in some countries today.

An American film crew travels to the Amazon rainforest to make a documentary about the cannibal tribes there. The team consists of Alan Yates his girlfriend Faye Daniels and the two cameramen Jack Anders and Mark Tomaso.
Harold Monroe an anthropologist at New York University agrees to lead a rescue team to find the documentary film makers who never returned from their trip.
After days in the rainforest the rescue team encounters the Yacumo tribe, finding them very hostile.
They learn that this is because the young filmmakers had been making great unrest amongst the people.
When Monroe and his rescue team head deeper into the rainforest they meet two other tribes, Yanomamo and Shamatari.
They encounter a group of Shamatari warriors and follows them to the riverbank, saving a small group of Yanomamo from their death. The Yamonamo tribe invites Monroe and his team back to their village, but are still treating them like outsiders.
To gain their trust Monroe bathes naked in the river, and the Yamonamo women joins him.
Afterwards they discover the rotting remains of the filming crew.
Monroe gets the remaining film tapes from the Yanomamo chief during a cannibalistic ritual.
When they get back to America, Monroe gets invited by Pan American Broadcasting System host the documentary from the recovered movie tapes.
Monroe insists to see the recovered footage first.
The executives from Pan American Broadcasting System shows Monroe the earlier work of Alan Yates, "The Last Road To Hell", and they tell Monroe Alan stages execution style footage to make the movie more exciting.
The first of the footage that Monroe sees follows the documentary film team through the rainforest, seeing them killing a turtle and their guide getting bitten by a venomous snake, and dies.
The four left of the filming team finds the Yacumo, Jack shoots one of them in the leg to easily follow him, as they encounter their village the crew forces the Yacumo people into the huts which they set on fire to stage a massacre.
The final two reels of film shows the team finding a Yanomamo girl, whom the men gang-rapes while filming it all.
Later they find the very same girl impaled on a wooden pole by a riverbank, where they claim the natives killed her.
The film ends whit the film crew getting attacked by the Yanomamo tribe as revenge for the girls rape and death.
This is the first of the Movie Nasties I review, and this is a movie that I really like.
One time this was the most violent movie ever made, and was notorious for it.
As I said before the movie was banned in several countries and are still banned in some countries today. The movie contains strong graphic images of rape, murder, cannibalism, and also some real footage of animal killing.
I really like the soundtrack of this movie, specially the opening tune by Riz Ortolani.
This movie has received some kind of a cult status, and shocked the world.
If you have not seen this movie, I suggest you see it, because it is really a golden piece of movie history.
It gets the score 9 out of 10.
