Untraceable (2008)

This is an American thriller movie starring Diane Lane, Colin Hanks, Billy Burke, and Joseph Cross. The movie is directed by Gregory. Its about a serial killer killing people and live streaming it on a site called Killwithme?
I was not very impressed with this movie.

Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane) and Griffin Dowd (Colin Hanks) are working in the FBI`s cybercrime division. They are fighting identity theft and similar crimes. But one night they are working Jennifer gets a note with the name of a website "Killwithme?.com". When she enters the site she sees a cat being tortured. Her boss thinks that a cat getting killed is a small problem, and tells her to just shut the site down and forget it. But the site will not be shut down, every time she shuts it down, a mirror server is put up.

Jennifer is a single mother and lives with her daughter Annie(Perla Haney-Jardine), and her mother Stella Marsh (Mary Beth Hurt). One day she is home she gets a message on her phone, and she runs inside to check the site again, this time a man is being tortured. Now the case gets more interesting to the FBI.

They starts to check out people that might be behind the killwithme? website, but he is harder to get than they would have thought. They are fighting against time, because the more viewers at the website, the faster the victim dies.

Suddenly one day a camera is put up outside of Jennifer`s home, as Jennifer is in the shower her daughter sees the website which is open on the family computer, and sees her self in the window. She goes out to see if she can find the camera.

The FBI starts to understand that the killer wants to get Jennifer as well.

I heard that this movie was a really brutal, bloody and filled with torture. Well it was not what I had hoped for at all. This was nothing more than a slightly boring thriller movie.
It had none of the elements of torture that I had hoped for when I put it on. The plot is kind of good, but I think they are overdoing it a little.
It is a internet themed thriller movie, which I think it is kind of cool. But I was hoping for it to be much better than it was.

It gets 4 out of 10.
