친절한 금자씨 "Kind-hearted Geum-ja". I could not think of a better way to end the Vengeance trilogy than this movie.
This is a South Korean psychological thriller. The english title is "Lady Vengeance" or "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance". The movie is directed by Park Chan-Wook, and stars Lee Young-ae as Geum-ja.
As a 19 year old girl Geum-ja is convicted and arrested for the kidnapping and murder of a 5 year old boy. After 13 years in prison for the crime that she did not commit. She swears to have her revenge on the real murderer.
This is a really good movie, and a great ending to the Vengeance trilogy. I would say that the movie is a little more artsy than the two prequels. But that only makes the movie more special, and it really suits the story.
The story is very catching and you get really sucked into it.
In my personal opinion I did not like this movie as much as the first two, but it still gets the score 9 out of 10.
