"돼지의 왕" AKA: "The King Of Pigs" is a South Korean drama animation film. It is written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho, and it is actually based on a true story.
The businessman Kyung-min kills his wife, after going bankrupt. He contacts his old friend Jong-suk, they used to middle school classmates, but has not spoken for 15 years. They starts to talk about their bad memories from middle school, being bullied, and beaten by the richer kids which has higher status than them in the school. Kyung-min and Jong-suk were at the bottom and was called pigs. The ruling kids was called "Dogs". Suddenly Kim Chul to stand up to the "dogs". He will later be called "The King Of Pigs".
This was actually a nice South Korean anime movie. It is shocking that it is based on a true story. I have not seen very much anime, but this one was truly shocking, dark and depressing. But I really did enjoy the film, the character Kim Chul was really awesome. This was a good place to start watching anime movies. But for me it was kind of long, and got a little bit boring towards the ending. But absolutely worth watching.
