Troll 2 is an Italian adventure/horror movie, directed by Claudio Fragasso (AKA Drake Floyd), and co-written by Claudio Fragasso and Rossella Drudi. The movie was originally suppose to be called "Goblins". But the United States distributors were skeptical that the movie would succeed as an indie film, and renamed it "Troll 2" in an attempt to sell it as a sequel to the original "Troll" movie from 1986. But the two movies do not have any connection to each other whatsoever. This movie has also been evaluated as "One of the worst movies ever made" A family is going on a vacation to a small country town called "Nilbog", Joshua (Michael Paul Stephenson) keeps getting messages from his grandfather, who passed away six months earlier that they should not go to this small town because it is the kingdom of the Goblins. As soon as they get to the small town strange things starts to happen.
The original movie "Troll" (1986) I actually thought was a decent movie, so I am glad to know this movie really is NOT a real sequel, because this movie is absolute CRAP! Seriously it has some of the worst acting I have seen in a movie, and the Goblins seems like kids or dwarfs wearing cheap costumes bought at a Halloween shop. The movie has a kind of "famous" scene where a girl melts into green slime, and the boy Arnold who is watching watching says "They're eating her! .....Then they're going to eat me! Oh my gaaaaaaaawwwd!". I have to admit I had quite a laugh watching this, but it is a awful movie! 1 out of 10
