RAW (2016)

RAW is a French/Belgian drama/horror movie. The French name of the movie is "Grave" and it is written and directed by Julia Ducournau. Justine (Garance Marillier) is a life-long vegetarian, she is about to start veterinary school, like her parents went before her. Her older sister Alexia (Ella Rumpf) is already studying at the school. As Justine starts the school the new students has to go through a bunch of vicious rituals, some of them are being splattered with blood, and eating a rabbit kidney. As Justine starts the school a whole new world opens for her, with hard partying and sex, and as Justine first gets the taste of raw meats, a unbidden craving for raw meat wakes up in her.

This movie was absolutely awesome! It was sick and twisted, sexy, dark, dirty and artistic! Everything I love in a drama/horror movie! Some of the scenes in this movie is so fucking cool and unforgettable, like Justine´s sexy mirror dance, her getting her pubes waxed, and drinking blood and eating her sister´s finger. I saw this first time yesterday, but this is definitely a movie I will watch several time in the future. The song "Plus Pute Que Toutes Les Putes" by ORTIES has been stuck on my head ever since I watched it. The movie sure has some grotesque and fucked up scenes. I really love it! 10 out of 10.
