Halloween: Resurrection (2002)

Halloween: Resurrection is an American Slasher/ Horror movie, and is the eight and final installment to the Halloween film series. The movie is directed by Rick Rosenthal, and co-written by Larry Brand, and Sean Hood, and of course based on characters by John Carpenter and Debra Hill.
Three years after the events at Hillcrest Academy, Laurie Strode has been has been admitted to a psychiatric ward for killing a paramedic, believing that it was her murderous brother Michael Myers. Michael Myers once again returns to once again try to kill his sister. After this the movie changes plot, and Myers travels back to Haddonfield, to deal with some youths staying in his old house, as a part of a Halloween reality show.

This is another part of the Halloween series that really not have much with the original plot to do, and I do agree with allot of comments that I got on the H20 review, that the H20 really should have been the real end to the Halloween film series. This movie kind of starts of Ok, and that is pretty much it. The rest of the movie takes a more "Teen-scream" turn, and has not very much with the original Halloween plot to do. I think this movie was made pretty much to make as much money as possible out of the Halloween franchise. I have never been very found of this movie. But it is a part of the Halloween series, and I am happy that it is the last part. But this is more a typical 2000´s horror movie, with "jump-scares" and the reality TV show theme. As I said pretty much the only thing good in this movie is the start, Jamie Lee Curtis, and of course the original Halloween theme by John Carpenter.
4 out of 10.
